Plaintiffs brought this suit in August of 2013 on behalf of themselves and all purchasers of TreSemme “Naturals” shampoos and conditions. Plaintiffs allege that the labels on the products falsely or misleadingly represent that the products are “natural” when in fact they contain numerous unnatural synthetic ingredients. The District Court denied Defendant’s motions to dismiss the complaint in April of 2014.
The Parties reached a $3.25 million settlement agreement which the Court approved on October 18, 2016. The deadline for filing claims was October 24, 2016. The Claims Administrator sent checks to over 225,000 class members who filed claims on February 3, 2017.
