Balser v. The Hain Celestial Group, Inc.

IKR brought suit on behalf of purchasers of over 30 “Alba Botanica” body washes, lotions and hair care products.  Plaintiffs, who were purchasers of the products, allege that the Hain Celestial Group falsely represents that the products are “natural” on their labels when in fact they contain numerous synthetic chemicals which are not found in nature.  IKR successfully argued to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit that the District Court had erred in dismissing the case.  On December 12, 2016, Plaintiff filed a voluntary dismissal of the case with prejudice.
