02 Jun In re Fidelity ERISA Float Litigation
IKR was appointed co-lead counsel in this class action litigation against Fidelity Management Trust Company on December 27, 2013. The complaint alleges that Fidelity improperly fails to credit ERISA retirement plans with interest earned when the plans are either depositing or withdrawing funds from accounts which Fidelity is holding as trustee. The District Court dismissed the complaint on March 11, 2015. Plaintiffs have filed an appeal of the decision with the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, which heard argument on the appeal on March 8, 2016. On July 13, 2016, the appellate court affirmed dismissal of the case.
